Voice Sample 13

It is noted that nonphysical (spirit) beings will listen to a human being speaking and sometimes add a word or phrase as if they were conversing.  Naturally, the human speaker has no knowledge of any paranormal voice until the recording is played back.

In this clip from October 25, 2008, the investigator was seated on this front porch musing to himself and, by chance, said out loud, "Well, I have now ... I have now."

Apparently, he was not as alone as he thought he was since an unknown voice softly replied, "Yes."

On October 29, 2008, a different class of paranormal speaker was recorded.  These speakers are sometimes referred to as "troubled" or "emotional" and even "self-obsessed."

The recorder was on, as usual, in a casual environment and the investigator's dogs saw him pick up his wallet and wanted to sniff it.  They seem to like the smell of the leather.  Jokingly, the investigator said, "You want to see if we have money in here?"  And the dogs happily sniffed the inside of the wallet.

However, unknown to the investigator, someone else seemed to overhear the conversation and appears to speak rapidly saying, "Just heard some noise ... says he'll kill me."

This type of troubled or emotional being is, unfortunately, all too common in the Near-Earth (physical-material) dimension.  They seem to be continually plagued by memories of their former physical lives and have an inability to let go of heavy emotions.

In addition, their perceptual awareness seems lacking as they misidentify living human beings as mere "noise" in their environment.

On the evening of November 9, 2008, one of the strangest voices to occur was recorded.  One of the "rules" of EVP captures indicates that the voices are of short duration, usually speaking either a single word, a phrase or a short sentence.  Some suggest that speaker runs out of "energy" to speak with.  Others feel that a dimensional "window" opens and closes.  But this is speculation.

On very rare occasions, a voice is captured that breaks a rule, such as this distorted, far-off sounding voice which seems to speak four times in fairly rapid succession with the final word being unintelligible since the investigator -- unaware of the presence of the paranormal voice -- began to take a breath to speak out loud again.

This particular session was considered a formal one and was done while seated at a table with lights lowered and as much ambient sound as possible quieted.  During sessions like these, the investigator chooses to speak directly to spirit presences, if any, but it is very rare to hear any reply.  In this case, that rule was also broken.

The investigator begins by saying, "I can analyze this recording later and see what it is you have commented."  Out of a session including many questions, this appears to be the only one replied to.

The strange voice -- apparently female -- seems to say, "Do you believe ... that I have answers ... I'm falling ... (unintelligible)."

If this interpretation of the words is correct, the actual meaning is completely open to conjecture.

(An Olympus DS-40 recorder was used as the primary recorder for this and the next few voice samples.)

When one records EVP for some time, it is noticed that a certain age range of voices occurs.  By far the greatest amount of recorded voices appear to be of adult age while a small portion is of children.  Conspicuously absent are the voices of infants, the elderly or infirm.

One such example of a young voice can be heard in the following samples.  The voice appears to be that of a young girl who speaks only briefly.

"Hey you" ... "Hey you" ... "Why?" and lastly, "Dad?"

These voice captures were recorded at the end of 2008 over a two-day period from December 26 to 28.  The last voice capture is characterized by a hollow echoing sound.  This echoing sound has been noted occasionally in EVP recordings, but the reason it occurs is unknown.

This young female voice has been since recorded along with either an adult male or adult female voice.  These may be the voices of parents responding to her.

Voice Sample 17

There seems to be a phenomenon where nonphysical speakers do not simply pass by a location once and depart, but return again and again.

In once such case, a speaker with a very distinct nasal-sounding voice was recorded on January 12, 2009, saying what appears to be, "Just make sure we observe."

Three months later, on April 16, 2009, he spoke again making a more cryptic comment, "This works for me."

In many examples of EVP, the speakers seem to be addressing members of a group; this might be considered to be a spirit group.  Also, benign observation seems to be part of the visitation.

Why nonphysical beings would keep living physical humans under observation is a topic open to speculation as they usually do not address the living directly.

While it is rare for a nonphysical being to give a direct answer to a living human through EVP, it may be that they suggest their purpose through simple messages.

On January 24, 2009, a cold winter morning, you will hear the investigator say, "I'll make breakfast."  And while the nonphysical speaker is not responding to any question, the investigator had pondered out loud during previous EVP sessions as to the purpose of their presence.

A very deep-voiced speaker recognized from earlier voice captures may have provided an answer in saying, "All need help."

On the morning of February 1, 2009, an interesting and infrequently heard type of capture was recorded.  The majority of EVP are voice captures, but occasionally "strange music" is recorded.

The strange music, however, still appears to be produced by a voice rather than any musical instrument.  This musical voice seems to be singing a series of three descending notes, with the final note ending quickly.  The frequency range was tightly in the 517 and 1000 Hz bands.  This constriction of frequency is often seen in paranormal sounds.
