EVP and its Metaphysical Implications

Voice Sample 26

It was late afternoon on September 14, 2009, when this Australian investigator left the recorder on and had forgotten all about it.  You will hear the investigator laughing at her dog’s antics at the time.
Toward the end of her laughing you can hear what sounds like a young girl's voice saying, "That was funny."

The investigator has no children and this voice was not heard at the time of recording.  It would seem that this unseen youngster was visiting and also enjoying the dog’s antics enough to comment on them.

Oftentimes it seems that when we least expect to record something paranormal and when we are not aware of or concentrating on the recording process -- possibly when we are in our most relaxed and natural state -- that paranormal speech is recorded.

The recorder used was the Olympus DS-40.

On March 7, 2009, a 30-minute recording session was being conducted and nothing was noticed at the time.  Upon playback however, at the very end of the recording, the investigator says a few words to close out the session and a female voice interjects two comments by saying, "Oh did you?  Think you're crazy."

What's interesting in this clip is that the voice is above the background noise. louder than the investigator's voice and has definite emotional overtones.  The paranormal voice is contextually responsive to the investigator speaking and shows a real-time, moment-by-moment awareness.

The recorder used was the Sony P520.

This interesting voice capture was recorded in Sweden in 2009.  The investigator left the recorder on while he and his fiancee were talking in Swedish.  A deep-sounding voice interjects a comment, saying in English, "And they are here."

A few seconds later the same voice makes another comment but the word is neither in Swedish nor English but phonetically sounds something like, "Un-gus-ti-a(te)," which no one has been able to translate.
